Earlier in the spring, I was able to get back to New York. My brother was also there and we were able to revisit the Rhino Snot text. At the conclusion of the weekend in New York, my brother and two of our younger cousins, Danni and Savanna, dropped me off at the airport. However, before leaving The Big Apple, we had to stop by Greasy Nick's. Now you might be confused, thinking, "the sign clearly says, "Leno's Clam Bar" so why is he calling it Greasy Nick's?" Don't worry about that!!! I'm letting you know the name is Greasy Nick's, everybody calls this classic food spot Greasy Nick's, and for you to focus on the sign will only serve to distract you from the point I am about to make. Basically, what you need to realize is that we were discussing Rhino Snot at a place called Greasy Nick's. It's prophetic! I'm taking it as encouragement to continue on this journey towards publication! Plus... it looks like my brother is trying to get an interactive display for the book. Note: He has assured me, he washed his hands before beginning any illustrations for the book.
All kidding aside... it was great to spend time with family. Being around my brother reinvigorated me about this project on which we are working. And as always, with a trip to Greasy Nick's, a good time was had by all.
